Thanks everyone! With the latest backers who've come on board, we've now unlocked Stretch Goal 5 - an additional set of 39 plastic stands (an army's worth).

As a Kickstarter Freebie we’re giving you a set of 39 plastic stands to mount an army on. As you'll receive a Scottish Army as part of your pledge, you can use the stands with them, or with the Normans or Welsh if you're getting them. 

We've also made the sets of plastic stands available as an optional buy if you want to equip all of your armies with their own stands. These will cost GBP £3.50. If you want to add some to your pledge, you'll be able to do so when we send you the pledge manager survey a few weeks after the Kickstarter campaign ends.

We only have three days left of the campaign now and wanted to again, say a huge thank you to everybody that has backed the campaign so far!

We're really excited that Battle Ravens is going to be a reality and cannot wait until it hits you tables, with that in mind, we have three days left to try and unlock as many stretch goals as we can so please share the campaign on social media with all your friends and lets get the word out about how awesome Battle Ravens is!

Thanks to everyone who has come on board in the past two days, we’re now able to unlock the designer's optional rules (added into the army bags). All Kickstarter backers will receive these as each pledge level includes a Scottish Army bag.

These rules add a little bit of extra Viking Age colour and tactical challenge to Battle Ravens. You may choose to use any, all, or none of these rules in your games. We recommend playing a handful of games without any of the optional rules to get the hang of gameplay, and then introducing these rules as and when you wish to change things around a bit.

The optional rules may be used with the Anglo-Saxon and Norse armies in the Battle Ravens core game, and with the Norman, Scottish, and Welsh armies which are purchased separately.

The rules cover:

• Variable deployment
• Reserves
• Dice variants (to give shorter or longer games)
• And a little treat if you wish to field a fourth Thrall

Yesterday, I was talking about reviewers and how wonderful it was to see lots of people playing and enjoying Battle Ravens.

New stretch goal added – extra plastic stands

We’ve added a new stretch goal at GBP £8,000: a Kickstarter Freebie of extra plastic stands.

If this stretch goal unlocks, you’ll receive a set of 39 plastic stands to place a third army on (you get enough stands in the game’s box to mount the Anglo-Saxon and Norse armies on). 

If the stretch goal unlocks and you wish to buy additional sets of stands, we’ll make them available as an optional buy for GBP £3.50 per set of 39.

Several people have asked about this as an option, so we’re pleased to be able to get these extra stands into place! Thanks for your continued support!
